When you post any public event or social activity, your listing becomes part of the official P4AP directory. For getting the word out and meeting people with similar interests, this is by far the best option! Improve your ranking by inviting friends to vote (+1 Up) and RSVP (+2 Ups) to your event.

When you want to use P4AP for private use, the private event option lets you create an unlisted event with all the same powerful invitation and RSVP features—but only your invitees can view it.

No matter what you choose, you can always switch back and forth by editing your event later from the “My Events” area.
